Professional Summary

Welcome! I develop computational methods at the intersection of metagenomics, deep learning, and microbiome science — translating massive sequencing datasets into biological insights.

At Sunagawa Lab (ETH Zürich), I work on deciphering phage activity across environments and elucidating their functional potential. I had contributed to the development of QIIME 2 and scikit-bio, two widely-used open-source bioinformatics toolkits.

Looking Ahead: As I approach the conclusion of my PhD, I am actively exploring full-time opportunities and advisory roles where I can bridge the gap between deep tech and commercial impact. I am specifically looking to bring my technical expertise to Biotech R&D or Venture Capital. Let’s connect!
