Presented on the intersection of deep learning and microbiology, demonstrating how to leverage generative AI models alongside metagenomic mining to design novel antimicrobial peptides. We explored pipelines that automate the identification of active sequences from environmental datasets, helping to address global challenges in antibiotic resistance.
